At senior school the young adults hone their academic and extra-curricular skills to prepare for their journey into the world outside the protective environs of the school. Innovative and effective teaching methodologies are used by the teachers with focus on the constantly changing educational pedagogy which enhances academic achievement. Apart from skills and knowledge due attention is also paid to inculcating values which will stand them in good stead in life. Our unique system of instituting a class teacher’s interactive period every morning is used to ensure that our students become sensitive and sensible citizens of the world. The learning environment is thought provoking and student centered. Project Based Learning, Cooperative and Experiential Learning through Group Discussions, Presentations, Seminars, Field Trips and Project Work frame the curriculum. During the course of study children are made to think, write and work in groups and individually to kindle their questioning minds. Students also appear for international aptitude test each academic year. The methodology attempts to break down the examination barrier thus opening up new vistas to face challenges by thinking, debating.
We encourage and support students in taking part of various district/state level exhibits. It encourages scientific and technological creativity among students and inculcating a sense of pride in their talent. We provide exploratory experiences, encouraging creative thinking among students through self-designed models or simple apparatus.We guide them in problem solving approach and developing appropriate technologies, especially for rural areas and integrating and applying scientific ideas in daily life situations to show case in those exhibits.
