Our labs allows students to interact directly with the data gathered. They get a first-hand learning experience by performing various experiments on their own. Students are made to use the models and understand different scientific theories and concepts. School science lab equipments and supplies make teaching and learning easy both for the teachers, as well as for the students. The objective behind introducing Computer/IT labs was to help expose educators to the latest technology and how it can be integrated and applied as a powerful learning tool in the curriculum. Our Labs were created and designed mainly for students and facilitators to attain these technological skills. By integrating technology in the classroom, facilitators are able to teach their students as to how to use 21st century technological skills now and in the future. Our Math Lab is Activity Centered. It helps the students explore and discover solutions to math problems. An integral part of the mathematics lab is the manipulation of objects. Helps students bridge the gap between real and abstract worlds. Students learn to understand their world in terms of numbers and shapes. Our math lab is teacher centered and child friendly. it provides an opportunity to students to understand, internalize, discover and verify the basic mathematical and geometrical concepts through concrete objects and situations. Children can perceive a concept thoroughly only with the combination of theoretical teaching in a classroom and hands on experience in a lab. Math needs practice, interest and brainpower which are fostered by the Math lab.

Environment plays a great role in imparting education .The atmosphere of social studies laboratory will help the students on the subject more .So the special room will affect the child psychologically and inspire him/her to study the subject more attentively. It also provides a platform for students to share their presentations. Some of the concepts where imagination is difficult are taught with the help of models like Solar system, land forms, drainage pattern, rotation and revolution of the earth etc. It provides exposure To acquaint students with History, Geography, Economics and Political issues of national and international importance.

At LIS we always strive to give the best to our students availing the transport facilities. The school provides a fleet of new, comfortable, and safe buses for the neighbouring area. All buses have GPS fitted and CCTV camera for saftely and security of the children traveling in them. All buses run by experienced drivers and conductors. All students are expected to follow bus rules. The buses are regularly maintained and adhere to the norms set forth by the RTO. There is a female support staff member on each bus to ensure proper supervision of students, who is dropped off after all students have disembarked. On most bus routes there is a teacher present who stays on for the duration of the route..

We wanted improve access to clean drinking water for the students, hence we have a RO purification facility to provide 24/7 purified and safe water to children.

The school has a medical room which is looked after by a qualified nurse. Every possible care is taken of the child during school hours and the nurse administers first aid to the students as and when necessary. She keeps an eye on them and tries to soothe their pain and suffering. If a doctor has to be consulted for treatment the parents are informed immediately. The school has an effective safety policy in place to take care of minor or major injuries or in case of sudden illness of the students

Our school promotes new avenues for the all-round development of the students. An important and critical feature of our school’s facilities is the auditorium. This grand hall has been the centre stage for a number of our students who have proved their mettle in dramatics, debates, musicals and other talent shows. The auditorium has been the battle-field of several inter-school competitions and has seen hundreds of students showcase their finest talents.    As a central and vital space, our school is indeed fortunate to have such a splendid auditorium. We have held award ceremonies, lectures by personalities of varied industries, one-act plays, music & theatre shows, dance competitions and numerous other such fun-filled and exhilarating programs that encourage teamwork and pride among students.

CCTVs have been installed in crucial vantage points of the school premises like gate, playground, corridors on every floor, school canteen, parking etc and is vigilantly monitored by the school security & staff from where they can keep an eagle eye on all the activities taking place in the school vicinity.

Our school has a large spectrum of sports facilities designed in adherence to the highest global specifications. In an expansive area of beautiful sporting fields, we have built a out door playground and a indoor indoor fields. There is always so much happening before and after school. Each student exercises every day, either with a specialist Physical Education teacher or his/her coach. Parents interested are also welcome to contribute to the co-curricular program, should they choose to do so. The school offers various sports and games which students play, guided by their sports coaches, regularly. Students also play Athletics, coached by their sports mentors in various categories including shot-put, Relays etc. They are facilitated and coached for participation in all CBSE, SGFI, National level events and tournaments. Apart from this students participate also, in Basketball, Cricket, Volleyball, Skating, Football tournament, as well and show exemplary performance in all events, to carve a niche for themselves and winning championships year after year.

Meal times are happy times at The Lotus International School. All the children sit together and share meals. It is a good opportunity for bonding and fosters greater camaraderie between students. The teachers also eat with the children and this facilitates a closer bond between them. The children are also taught dining room etiquette and table manners. Dining halls serve hygienic and nutritious meals under the supervision of a trained dietician, planned by a food committee. Requests for special diet, supported by medical evidence, are accommodated in cases of illness, convalescence and allergies to specific food items.
Junk food and carbonated beverage are not allowed. By insisting that the children should eat the nutritionally balanced and healthy food provided by the school, it is ensured that children acquire correct food habits.

Lotus International School offers a variety of items on the menu to the students, who have signed for the school lunch. The food - fresh and seasonal - is thoroughly put together in the school kitchen by the staff. All dishes are made from scratch and no ingredient is frozen. The food is consumed on the same day and no stocked/packaged food and preservatives are used. The menus are carefully crafted to meet the nutritional guidelines of the school. It aims to provide a variety of appealing food that meets the health and nutrition needs of the students and helps shape lifelong healthy eating behaviors. We occasionally add or remove items but usually, the menu changes on a fortnightly basis. For an add on, one dessert is provided every day with the meal.
